We are urgently looking for a PhD candidate for ATB’s work package on floor design in dairy cattle barns within the EmiMin project. In the WP, a new floor type together with improved manure sliders for planed walkways is intended to help reduce the formation of ammonia and thus the emissions of the barn through an early separation of faeces and urine and a more thorough removal. The project is about to start soon.
